Site Construction and Paving Since 1888
The original company began as an excavator and road developer in the 1800s, and into the 20th century emerged as a leader in comprehensive site development and site maintenance. Its past successes can still be seen in such major projects as the constructing of Route 1 located between Rahway and Elizabeth, NJ. Another major success was realized in the completion of the site work for the construction of the township of Winfield Park during World War II.
As the founding company grew in the ’50s it completed numerous major paving projects for the State of New Jersey, local municipalities and industrial companies. When the NY/NJ metropolitan area experienced a major construction boom in the ’60s and ’70s, the company became a key force in the construction of main arterial roads and the expansion of Newark International Airport.
